Details: Emma was close to both of her parents growing up, and loved them both dearly. Emma's father always treated her well, he loved her, and groomed her to be the woman she is today, with the help of her mother. Emma often went to him with problems, and Winston brought Emma into the family business believing she had the brains to take control of it when he no longer could. He even gave her a position in company when she was still fairly young. Once Emma grew up and left their home, her parents bought another home in Wyoming, where they own a ranch as well as in the Las, Vegas area were her father owns his own Casino, the Montecito. Winston offered Emma a job at the Casino, but she declined, deciding she wanted to stay in New York instead. When Emma married Scott, her and her father saw each other again, and Winston approved of their marriage, thinking Scott was a great man. They have since kept in close contact, and he and her mom spend most of their time back on the east coast, where they get to see their grandson.
Details: Emma had always been close with her mother, and credits her for her strength. Though they were always close, they had hit rough patches here and there. After they worked things out, the two became closer than before. (unfinished)
Details: Emma's eldest sister, Adrienne is the rebellious, inappropriate sister of the three, always getting into trouble even in her teenage years. Generally jealous of Emma, since her parents gave her the most attention of the three being the baby of the family, the two got into fights frequently, with Cordelia always having to split them apart. She was controlling over Emma when they were little, always telling her what to do and making her do things for her, though Adrienne would generally take care of Emma if she needed it. After graduating, Adrienne moved towns and is oftentimes gone, thus not keeping much contact with the rest of the family. Despite rarely getting along and regardless of their differences, they love each other and support the other, though they sometimes choose not to show it.
Details: Even though Cordelia was the so called "outcast" of the three sisters, while growing up Cordelia and Emma were very close and grew to rely on each other for emotional support. However, being slightly older than Emma, Cordelia left the family to go off to college, but the two always kept in contact. She later returned while going through some tough times, and was looking for support and familiar faces. Emma ecstatic to see her welcomed her with open arms, along with other members of the team and stayed at the mansion for awhile. Since then, the girl's relationship has grown stronger by each day and the two have become inseparable.
Details: Although only related by marriage Charles and Emma are very close. Emma has become like a daughter to Charles over the years. Though common amongst other members of the X-Men, Emma looked up to Charles like a father, although Emma disliked Charles at first, he took Emma in and let her become a member of the X-Men even though other members disliked the idea due to the fact that she used to be their enemy. He believed that Emma could be and was a good person, and Emma has since proven to Charles that she is truly a good person, and the two have since gotten much closer. (will add more)
Details: Though the relationship between the two at first was rocky, Moira accepted Emma and they became close quickly. Moira believes she is a good fit for Scott, even reminding Emma of herself in her early years, as well as the similarity of her and Scott's relationship, to her and Charles'. Moira has grown to love Emma and has treated her as if she was her own daughter. (sounds messy)
Details: The relationship between the two is strained due to her relationship with him, and once Emma married Scott she began to ignore David entirely, he was angry about her and Scott's marriage, believing she made a bad choice. David was a big distraction for the two, always trying to get closer to her, causing them problems. Emma and Scott worked out the problems, and David finally backed off, realizing there was no point in meddling. (will add more)
